Livingroom refurbishment in Burntwood

The owner of this property had recently moved in and had decided to remove the fireplace in the living room to create some extra space. The brick fireplace was removed and the floor joists needed supporting. Behind the fireplace a void was bricked up, the light switches were moved and replaced with modern chrome, an extra power socket was installed so a tv could be wall mounted.

The wall was then plaster boarded, skimmed and finished with new skirting board and architrave. The ceiling was made good where needed, we then bonded and skimmed over the existing artex ceiling to give a smooth finish ready for the customer to start painting. New coving was then fitted to match the existing.

The finished result provided the customer with a large living room that is modern and looks amazing!!!

I love my new lounge! Tom’s workmanship is of a very high standard and he seems to be able to turn his hand to anything. He has excellent knowledge and vision as I discovered when he did some work for me a few years ago in my old property. I would recommend Bailey Propeery Services any day and will be using them again for another project in the near future. Excellent service, reasonable price and friendly reliable people. Thank you Tom.
